Uneventful life

Work yesterday was a bitch. 40 customers in a big gp, 2 people working in a station, with the tables all over the place and the sky threatening to drench me any second. I KNEW I was going to get pissed off working and I was VERY close. In the end it was the staff that was at the same station as me who got pissed off. I don't blame him for being angry though, those who are more capable than others are always stretched thin.

Our PM has once said, "Respect those who serve u, they are not ur slaves". I agree with that, but apparently many other fuckers all over Singapore don't give a flying fuck about what our PM says. Which brings me to another question, how many people actually watch the PM's National Day Rally anyway?

Anyway, I believe in today's society, the phrase "The customer is always right" really doesn't mean shit now. In the past yes, but that was when the educated were the customers, and the non-educated were the servers. Fast-forward to now, who are the ones being waiters in restaurants? People like me, diploma holders, uni under-grads, JC students and what have u. Y is the customer always right? I have the right to reject their requests if it's too far fetched. If the customer doesn't respect me as a person, Y should I give him any respect as a customer?

It's sad to see grown adults, arguing about not paying 15 dollars corkage charge, not wanting to pay 1.20 for FREE FLOW of warm water, not wanting to pay 3 dollars for appetizers, not wanting to pay 60 cents for a wet towel, etc etc etc. The list goes on. I feel embarassed for them, making a big fuss out of everything, saying it's not right to charge for water, towels etc etc. Kopitiam ice kosong also 10 cents, Zhi Cha wet towel also 20 cents, even kopitiam got paste paper stating no outside food and drinks allowed. YET STILL, people like to argue it's not...morally right to charge.

Who the fuck are u to talk to me about morals? It's morally wrong to let idiots like them to live so long. They never should have been born in the world in the first place. I am disgraced knowing that I share and breathe the same air with them.
